A product designed for the serious student, brave enough to get under the hood and learn microcontrollers from the inside out. Programmed via an ISP interface using the Silicon Labs IDE. Extensive courseware and supporting documentation are provided upon purchase of this product.
LEARN MOREAn assortment of male-to-male, male-to-female and female-to-female jumper wires. Also contains shorting jumpers, sections of red, black, gray, and green 22 AWG solid hook up wire. These items allow easy interconnection of breadboard modules with external circuitry and other circuit modules.
LEARN MOREIncludes assorted male-to-female and female-to-female jumper wires, along with a 10-position ribbon cable. Also contains rainbow wire, shorting jumpers and a standoff kit. Allows easy interfacing with the C51 Microcontroller Project Launcher.
LEARN MOREIncludes assorted male-to-male, male-to-female and female-to-female jumper wires. Also contains hook up wire, shorting jumpers and a standoff kit. A 12VDC fan and a small breadboard are included for use during performance of coursebook exercises.
LEARN MOREIncludes assorted male-to-female and female-to-female jumper wires. Also contains assorted hook up wire, rainbow wire, shorting jumpers and a standoff kit. A small +12VDC/25W AC wall adapter is also offered with this kit (optional).
LEARN MOREAn ideal starter kit for the new student. When the module receives an enable signal the LED flashes and the piezo audio transducer beeps. While assembling the kit, the student becomes acquainted with a variety of electronic components.
LEARN MOREServes as complementary product to the PRESSON C51 Microcontroller Project Launcher (or an Arduino eight-bit MCU). Eight LEDs can serve as indicators for a microcontroller output port. Three seven-segment displays can display numeric output data.
LEARN MOREOperating at 315MHZ using on-off keying (OOK), this module is designed to modulate either a 0-to-3.0V rectangular wave form from an external source or a 4.0KHz beacon signal generated by an onboard oscillator. This module is ideal for teaching the fundamentals of remote control and keyless access.
LEARN MOREA complementary product to the Simple 315MHz Transmitter, this module is designed to demodulate the signal transmitted by that device. The module contains a 4.0KHz piezo transducer that produces its clearest and strongest tone when demodulating the 4KHz signal produced by the transmitter module. A yellow LED also glows steadily with this condition. (The 4.0KHz beacon signal can be used to check the range of the RF pair.)
LEARN MOREServes as a platform for learning about thermistors, precision temperature sensors, op amp signal conditioning circuitry, Schmitt triggers, and deadband control. Serves as a controller for a cooling fan. Can also be used with the C51 Microcontroller Project Launcher to form a precision thermometric system.
LEARN MOREAn ideal starter kit for the new student. When the IR reflective photosensor on the ground plane side senses the approach of a reflective object, the LED illuminates and the module produces a high output pulse. Could be used as a contactless limit switch.
