Our Founder
Jim Maas, founder and CEO of PRESSON Circuit Modules, Inc., brings nearly 40 years of expertise in electronics, starting as a SONAR operator/technician in the US Navy. With extensive experience teaching component-level electronics at community colleges and proprietary schools, he has also served as a technical trainer, course developer, and semiconductor support specialist in the tech industry.
Jim’s vision for PRESSON stemmed from a gap he observed in STEM and CTE programs—many offer limited coverage of key areas like analog devices, sensors, and industrial microcontroller applications. PRESSON’s mission is to bridge this gap by creating innovative eLearning courseware and training materials that offer hands-on learning in critical, real-world technology skills, empowering the next generation of tech professionals and addressing the needs of today’s high-tech industries.
